We worked with Petdirect to create a Takapuna store where the brand's "We get pet" mantra shines. The fixtures and signage GDM produced carry Petdirect's strong visual identity right through the space, complementing a store and brand that feels playful as well as professional.

Important details help the store run smoothly day-to-day, from durable finishes that stand up to paws, prams and trolleys, to integrated ticketing, power and security that keep the space tidy and efficient for the team.

At Petdirect, layout is organised around clear zones for Care, Pet Health, Grooming, Tech, Apparel and other themes.

Tall aisle headers, end-caps and service counters make it easy for customers to orient themselves, while flexible shelving, tables and hanging rails allow the team to merchandise everything from bulk food to fashion and devices without losing visual order. Integrated price messaging and loyalty offers are built into the fixtures so promotions feel part of the design, not an add-on.

The result is a store that feels warm and welcoming, with the timber ceiling and polished concrete floor balanced by crisp black fixtures and bright green highlights. Pet lovers can browse comfortably, move easily between services and categories, and clearly see that specialist care is available alongside everyday essentials.
